Love is a profoundly tender, passionate affection toward another person and our Lord Jesus has commanded us to love one another as He has loved us. When Jesus commanded us to Love it meant to love without prejudice of race, greed, colour, gender or religion; The Lord is no respecter of persons. Jesus first loved us and in His love He forgave us for all our sin. His love covers a multitude of sin and as disciples of Jesus we must walk in that love and demonstrate it toward humanity. As we witness society’s duplicity and see how the cultural relativism of this modern-day decays more and more with each generation; we have to ask ”Where is the Love” and What has the heart of humanity become? Has the moral pendulum swung so far out that there is no hope of recovery? Have we become so desensitized to the condition of the world that we don’t even recognize the crucial moral state it is in…..? I say there is HOPE!!
It is time for a SHIFT……”A Revolution of Love”, A message that exceeds all time….The message of the CROSS…..The foundation of the greatest Love ever known; the foundation which this very society was built upon. It is a season to turn our hearts inside out and allow the purity of His Spirit to flow through us into the atmosphere; Every word that we speak echoes out across space and time and will bring a positive effective change to the environment. We must change the dialog of our words to Love. Let no words of evil pass through your lips, if we must engage in a fight than we must remember to fight from the position of Love. The Love that dwells inside you is greater than any situation. Stand in that position!!….Stay in that position!!
It is only when your whole heart is gripped with the passion of Christ that the Spirit’s fire will consume you with great courage to Love with extreme measure. Society needs Love!! We need to be the extended heart of God in the world. We need to swing the pendulum back to the position of Loving one another as God first Loved us!!!
Be Blessed, Be Bold, and Love Furiously ~Sincerely Pastor Cindy
