Transitional Opposition

Transitional opposition is the place of in between…it is a place where we are no longer who we used to be but are not quite who God wants us to be. It is a place where the battle with the enemy becomes intense, insane and even unbelievable…. The enemy is trying to destroy us before we come into the actualization of our new position in Christ. He knows the power and the authority that is inside of us and it is his assignment to bring disillusionment and to cause us to stumble. It is his eternal desire that we do not reach our destination in God.

Through our lives we will have many points of transition. Transition causes us to examine our thoughts, our behaviour and our ideals. It is breaking off the old thought patterns & relationships and moving up higher into new revelations in His wonderful, Marvellous Kingdom….to a higher more fulfilled life in Christ.

It is in the season of breaking that we truly free ourselves from all the hindrances placed upon us by mankind, the enemy, ourselves and religion…..We enter deeper into the presence of God and He now plants us on stronger foundation. It is a foundation built upon Faith…Faith is the most durable substance in the universe and no turmoil, no man or no enemy will cause it to fracture.   Faith assures us that all things work together for His Glory, which brings healing to the fractures in our own spirits. Often times in the solitude of darkness the enemy keeps us shadow boxing with ourselves,  the enemy may start the fight but so often we end up doing most of his dirty work!!  We must always try to catch the enemy at the first thought….if we allow that thought to pass without casting it down it will permeate into our spirit and may form roots of bitterness or other unhealthy emotions. Not to say that the transition period isn’t difficult, it is….we just all need to learn not to give our power away.

I have learned that during these seasons of transition the power of prayer is essential.  Prayer breaks the strong holds of the enemy and lifts our eyes to our Heavenly Father. Looking toward heaven refreshes us and shifts our thoughts into forward thinking; rather than inward thinking. When we pray in earnest Faith we cause the blockade of the enemy to dissipate and the river of life to flow from the heavens…. Prayer is communion with God. Prayer is the amour of steel that shelters us from the enemy’s arrows and protects our heart so that it may continue to expand in the heart of God….the heart of Love. Prayer causes us to rise out of the ashes and into great new heights in our relationship with God. Prayer causes God to move on His promises and bring recompense for the destruction the enemy has brought upon our lives and into the earth. Prayer allows us to transition in peace and joy….We cannot allow the situation to steal our Joy. For if the enemy steals our joy….our hope is sure to follow.  Walking by Faith and not by sight can be challenging; but not impossible…. It is in those times that when we walk by faith that we are drawn deeper into His abounding Grace….His abounding Favour. We have spoken to the mountain in faith and now He has caused it to crumble!!!

The transition will give way to the new destiny and we shall rise with Outstanding Faith, Outstanding Wisdom, Outstanding Love and a new appreciation for the blessings of God even in the midst of the storm.

In Jesus Name we Stand…In Prayer. Amen

Be Blessed in His Presence, In His Love and in all things pertaining to your life.                    ~Sincerely Rev. Cindy

  1. Amen! I have also found that the enemy throws everything he can at me before my biggest breakthroughs. You are so right. Faith and prayer is what navigates us through these difficult straits. Now, I have a totally different perspective about it. I see it as a set up for an upgrade! Understanding the transitions is critical. Thanks for bringing this out. Blessings.

  2. This is absolutely AWESOME!!! I am in the process of getting the fullness of all of this and am passing this to my friends of the faith!!! Blessing on you and your family and ministry family!! To God be all the Glory!!

  3. It’s really cool that you wrote about transitions. It’s not talked about enough. Transitions are the place we are knowing Christ in His burial–between death to sin & new life to God (also not talked about enough). I’ve been in a place of transition myself, so this was timely! God bless, & thanks!
