Anti-Gay vs Pro-Heterosexual

 rainbow

I am not Anti-Gay…I am Pro Heterosexual, I do not hate those who choose a different lifestyle that is opposite to my belief system; I respect their free will to choose…I only want the right to be able to make the same free choice without being accused of hate speech….I love all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or social standing in life. Why? Because God is Love and I am an Ambassador of His Love and Truth. If we take away the freedom to express ones view-point, we will begin the very destruction of society as a whole. We as a loving people under God cannot adhere to a standard that does not reflect our view-point and we must stand to lovingly express our concerns. We are not fearful or intolerant of alternative lifestyles; we only want to preserve the morals of our traditional views. We are not about enforcing our values on the 2% of the earth’s population that are of other sexual orientation; we are about embracing our moral structure that was designed by our creator. We do not fight our battles with parades, but with prayer; Why? Because we understand that all that is in the earth belongs to God. It is not by force that we follow our hearts and surrender our lives to the Lord, but by our own freewill to select an abundant life in Christ Jesus

So if you want to hate us for protecting what is important to our standard of life; you may do so….We will still love you and respect your choice to parade who you are. Why? Because we understand that freedom of speech is necessary to sustain the social structure in this chaotic world. We understand that without the right to express who we are as individuals or as an institution will destroy the very essence of mankind’s soul. We understand that without your soul; which consists of your mind, your will and your emotions, we become nothing more than mere hollow shells. We understand that to remove any element of the soul is to bring death to society’s very own existence. The soul is the creative force in this natural realm which causes us to be the unique individuals that God has designed. Our soul alone cannot conqueror all the issues in life but by the grace of His Spirit we can resolve to respect and love one another and every part of God’s creation. We do not wrestle in the soul realm, we wrestle in the Spirit realm; We stand to fight and to bring down the strongholds in which the veil of humanity is blind too. We stand and honour the free will given to us by our Heavenly Father; We choose life, liberty and love for our Lord Jesus Christ; the way the truth and the life!!

We are not asking you to accept the Christian view-point; We are only asking that we receive the same equal opportunity to express it….

Respectfully ~ Rev. C.A. Livingstone

  1. Well Stated. The world does not comprehend Love as defined by you and by God himself.

  2. Absolutely agree 100%. I have expressed the same thoughts and points. However, I have also expressed that some of us in the body of Christ aren’t exemplifying that love, but are actually showing hate towards those living this lifestyle and that is not God’s call to His body. Hating the sin is not hating the person, and some (not all) do not realize that. In addition, I believe that some in the “church” are pinpointing this sin as if it is greater than any other sin. Some will openly criticize homosexuality, but turn a blind eye to fornication, adultery, lies etc going on right in the pulpit; which is also an abomination to God because all sin is. So, glad to see your post today! 🙂

    • Yes Kenita, you are correct in your assessment of the body of Christ…there definitely needs to be an adjustment in some of the Christians approach to how they deal with various sins. God is love, however those of us in Christ will receive correction. Those outside of Christ well we are only to be the expression of His Love to the world. The world needs love more than hate!! Thanks, its always a pleasure chatting with you. 🙂

    • I appreciate the article and your additional point as well. Truth, these.

  3. “We are not asking you to accept the Christian view-point; We are only asking that we receive the same equal opportunity to express it….”

    Kudos!

I read somewhere that soon someone in the White House will be judging those who apply for employment or those already employed, that if you do not support the gay view point then you are against them – and saying nothing (which most of us do in order to not have to explain or argue our point), will be viewed as guillity of not supporting. Since when does the U.S. judge for the “crime of thought?” Um…nah.. God will have to take control of this entire situation and fast!

Living in accordance to the Word of God alone and not of this world where people say when things are ‘normal’ or ‘natural,’ when God states is a sin gets many of us in situations of rebuke. I am a citizen of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of God is NOT a democracy. Therefore, I will only live in accordance to the spirit of the Lord. Now, I will not hate anyone – and I walk in agape’ (the unconditional love of God). But, we are to judge character, and spearate ourslves from character that is not of God. Therefore, should God have me help anyone in need no matter what He states in the bible about the action, then I will – for what I do to the lesser of them I do unto Him – therefore, I shall continue to serve Him with eternal love in order to serve whom He brings before my feet with love. In return, I am always blessed with joy and I love it! :-).

It is all about Jesus Christ! It is not about me or anyone else – no mater if they are gay or heterosexual. I will not, however, be a hypocrite.

    • I do agree, things are getting out of control with government self regulating. I am from Canada and we have many of the same issues here…except its not as bad as the states yet. You are correct; we are to live according to the word of God and be lead by His Spirit. Yes we are to be apart from sinners; however we are also to minister to the lost. So its the be in the world but not of the world attitude that we must always adhere too. God loves all of His creation and it is His hope that none shall perish. As much as this world is in chaos we have to remember that its still Gods world and all things work according to His plan and purpose. We must continue to fight the good fight and walk faithfully trusting in the Lord.

Its always great hearing from you, You have a great amount of wisdom and love. May God continue to bless your ministry and all things in your life. 🙂

  4. Love this Cindy! Very well written! I am in total agreement with you sister. Much love!

  5. I love how you worded your article and I totally agree with you. Thank you for sharing it!

  6. Yes and amen. Hate the sin, but compassionate toward those who are bound in that lifestyle.

  7. Thank you for this article. You have stated the necessary without unnecessary antagonistic confrontational attitudes. Using words to share is good. Using words to bash is harmful. Thank you for the care you used in your writing of this important truth.

  8. This all sounds very good and often it sounds a little too good to be true. In my life path of seeking to know the Lord personally, it has been made very clear to me that many of my choices have not been biblically sound. My experiences with churches has always led me to flee from judgement, and the few that accepted me- I truly believe they just wanted me around to make them look holier, compassionate, long suffering and many other attributes Christians are supposed to be blessed with. Being the token backslider or what have you is nothing to build a spiritual foundation on.

I do believe that Christians are just as entitled to an opinion as anyone else and definitely should not be persecuted for it nor, hated. Like many I suppose, my disillusionment with Christianity as a church is by no means an excuse to silence ministers or to discredit them in any way. The longstanding persecutions of Christians and Christianity make it very difficult for individuals to attach to such a vine. Given the current onslaught of evil the church is supposed to provide at least some protection and nurturing for all who are unhappy with our choices and seeking remedy.

I sincerely hope that your ministry is really what you say it is- because grammatically and spiritually is beautifully poetic.

    • Thank you for your comment, I do understand your disillusionment. I know that some churches can be very unfriendly and even judgmental towards others; However that is not the true reflection of Christ. Their is no one without sin, that is the whole reason Jesus came and died on the cross for us; So that we could be redeemed. Even after we are saved by Christ our old nature needs to be worked out of us…No sin is different than any other, whether it be lying or killing someone…to God sin is sin. Not all of our choices are always biblically sound…that is why God has given us grace, so that we have room to grow. As an ambassador of Christ it is my job to present His word to people and it is up to the Holy Spirit to do the rest. Now there is a difference between judgement and correction…we all need correction sometimes. God is love and because He loves us He will correct us …just like any father would. His correction will always come in a loving manner, a gentle prodding from within, and if we don’t listen then He sends someone or a lesson of some kind along to assist us. Jesus didn’t come into this world to build a religion…He came to build a relationship with all mankind….However, you must also understand that there is an adversary (the devil) and he will use Christians by oppressing them in their minds…Some Christians leave themselves open to this because they themselves have something that is not right in Gods eyes and their projecting on to others is a way of denying their own issues. God is a God of forgiveness….Forgiveness sets us free. It is best to release any bitterness that you may feel toward this situation and let God handle it. At the end of our Journey when we stand in front of our maker…He will not be judging us on what was done to us but by did we respond according to His Love and grace.

I stand on the word of God…I allow His Spirit to work through me for the benefit of others…it does not make me holier than anyone else, it makes me a servant who still needs Gods grace and love on a daily basis. God has blessed me with His Sweet Spirit…the poetic words I write are from my ability to here His voice in my heart.

May God Bless You and Keep You ~Sincerely Rev. Cindy

  12. Cindy,
What a great post. It was a very well worded post. Free will and free speech are a part of society and to truly reach people all must have it. Thank you for such a well thought out entry.
